Cupping

Glass, bamboo or vacuum cups which are placed on the skin via vacuum suction. The suction effect is created when a small flame warms the cup before placing it on the skin. This action of suction stimulates blood and lymph flow, improving circulation, relaxing muscles and reduces inflammation. It can be used to treat musculoskeletal conditions such as back, shoulder or neck pain, muscle tightness or tension. It is sometimes used in conjunctution with acupuncture but it can also be use as a treatment alone. Cupping can leave temporary bruising or marks that will fade.
